Refund Policy

At True North Safety Certifications (“True North,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to providing high-quality, OHS- and CSA-compliant online safety training. Because our courses are delivered digitally with instant access and immediate certificate issuance upon completion, our refund and cancellation terms are specific to ensure fairness and transparency.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued only if:

  • The course has not been accessed, opened, or started.

  • The refund request is submitted within 7 days of purchase.

If a course has been started, accessed, or completed, refunds cannot be provided due to the immediate availability of training materials and certificates.

 

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • The course content or certificate has been accessed in any way.

  • You fail to complete the course before the expiry date listed at purchase.

  • You register for the wrong course but still access or start it.

Tip: Always review your course selection carefully before enrolling.

 

3. Course Transfers

  • If you purchased the wrong course but have not started it, we can assist with a one-time transfer to the correct course of equal or lesser value.

  • Any price differences for higher-value courses will be billed separately.

 

4. Corporate & Group Enrollments

Refunds for corporate or bulk purchases are governed by the terms outlined in the corporate training agreement.

5. Cancellations

Because all courses are delivered digitally with instant access, cancellations cannot be processed once your account has been granted access to training materials.

 

6. Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems that prevent you from accessing your course:

  • Contact our support team at support@safecert.ca

  • If the issue cannot be resolved and the course has not been started, a full refund or course credit may be offered at our discretion.
